Rejuran Healer is probably one of the injectables that has received the most discussion in South Korea’s medical aesthetics community in recent years. It is a PDRRN (polynucleotide) extracted from salmon DNA, and is claimed to be able to repair damaged skin, tighten Pores, and reduce fine lines. But what about the price?
While doing my homework, I noticed that the prices of Rejuran vary greatly – some clinics stated “Rejuran 1 centum core: ₩180,000”, others said “Rejuran 2 centum cores: ₩450,000”, and still others added “injection procedure plus ₩100,000”. Which one is correct? In this article, I will clarify the actual market situation of Rejuran in South Korea in 2026.
What is Rejuran? How is it different from ordinary hyaluronic acid injections?
Let’s start with some basic information. The main difference between Rejuran Healer and ordinary hyaluronic acid injections (such as Benyuan Hyaluronic Acid Injection or Theo Hyaluronic Acid Injection) lies in the following aspect:
- Ingredients: Rejuran is PDRRN (polynucleotides), derived from salmon DNA; ordinary hyaluronic acid treatments consist of Filler combined with vitamins/amino acids.
- Efficacy: Rejuran focuses on “skin regeneration” – it not only provides hydration but also helps to reduce fine lines and Pores; ordinary hyaluronic acid treatments primarily serve to hydrate and maintain skin moisture.
- Duration of effect: According to Rejuran’s official claims, it lasts for 6 to 12 months; for regular hyaluronic acid treatments, the duration is approximately 2 to 3 months.
- Price: Rejuran is much more expensive, usually costing 3 to 5 times more than regular glow treatments.
Rejuran’s actual prices in South Korea in 2026 (manual injection vs. machine-assisted injection)
There are two methods of administering Rejuran: manual injection (where a doctor uses a syringe to inject the substance gradually) and mechanical injection (using a beauty gun or hyaluronic acid gun to distribute the substance evenly). Both methods have their advantages and disadvantages, and the prices also vary.
| Project | Specifications | Prices determined manually | Prices for machine-assisted injections | Remarks |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rejuran (for the entire face) | 1 centum core | ₩220,000 | ₩180,000 | The machine ensures more even results, while manual operations achieve greater precision. |
| Rejuran (for the entire face) | 2 centum cores | ₩380,000 | ₩320,000 | 2 centum cores is a relatively common dosage used in such treatments. |
| Rejuran (for the entire face) | 3 centum cores | ₩520,000 | ₩450,000 | Suitable for those with severe skin problems |
| Rejuran + Botulinum Toxin (Combo) | 2 centum cores | ₩480,000 | — | At the same time, it improves Pores and enhances skin tightness. |
The above prices are those applicable at regular clinics in Gangnam and already include 10% VAT. Note that these are the “actual prices of Rejuran itself”; some clinics may add additional fees such as “anesthesia fee of ₩30,000” or “post-treatment mask of ₩20,000” before or after the procedure. It is recommended to confirm the total cost in advance.
Manual injection vs machine-assisted injection: Which is better?
This is a question that many people ask before trying Rejuran. Based on my personal experience, the answer depends on the results you want to achieve.
Advantages of manual typing
- Based on the condition of your skin, a doctor can inject Rejuran into the areas that most need repair.
- It is quite effective in reducing Nasolabial Fold Correction and fine lines around the eyes.
- Doctors can control the depth of the treatment, ensuring that it reaches the middle layer of the dermis (for better results).
Disadvantages of manual typing
- It hurts! Hitting with one’s hand is much more painful than using a machine, especially when it hits the cheeks and Forehead.
- Bruising may occur (which usually subsides within 3 to 5 days).
- The price is approximately 20% higher than that of the machine.
Advantages of machine-assisted injection
- It doesn’t hurt much (almost no sensation at all after applying the anesthetic).
- No bruises (the needles are very thin and evenly distributed).
- Affordable prices
Disadvantages of machine-assisted injections
- When applied near the facial contours, due to the “even coverage,” it may not be as effective in addressing deep wrinkles as when applied manually.
- The depth of the device is fixed (usually 1-2 mm) and cannot be customized like when performed manually.
Refuse to accept last-minute price increases: How can you prevent being cheated by clinics?
One of the biggest problems in the Rejuran market is the practice of “temporary price increases.” You might search online and find information like “Rejuran 1 centum core: ¥180,000,” but when you arrive at the clinic, the staff will tell you that “that price is for injections using machinery; manual injection requires an additional ¥100,000” or “our Rejuran is an upgraded version, so there’s an extra charge of ¥80,000.”
Below is the “Guide to Avoiding Pitfalls” that I have summarized:
- Before the procedure, be sure to ask clearly about the total cost, which includes the price of Rejuran itself, the anesthesia fee, and the post-operative care costs.
- Verify the brand and dosage – it is necessary to inspect the products on-site (the genuine packaging of Lizhu Amine contains the KFDA approval mark and anti-counterfeiting labels).
- Refuse any offers to “administer additional injections” – if a doctor says during the procedure, “The dose you’ve received is not enough; more needs to be added,” firmly refuse. For a normal Rejuran injection, the dosage should be confirmed in advance before the procedure.
- After the procedure, you will be given a receipt that lists the name of the treatment, the dosage, and the unit price. In case there are any issues, you can file a complaint.
My Rejuran experience: 2 centum cores were injected manually, and the entire process of applying the treatment to my whole face was documented in detail.
I used 2 centum cores of Rejuran myself; I applied it manually to my entire face, including the area where my neck connects to my face (the neck area was included for free). The total cost was ₩380,000 (approximately NT$9,100). Here is the complete process:
Before the procedure (15 minutes)
The nurse helped me remove my makeup and apply the anesthetic (it took about 20 minutes). After that, I waited while the doctor came in to discuss the treatment plan with me. She marked several areas on my face with a pen – my cheeks, the area around my eyes, and my forehead – and said, “Your main issues are Pores and fine lines, so these areas need extra attention.”
Administration (30 minutes)
When it started, I was actually a bit nervous, but to be honest, it wasn’t as painful as I had imagined. The doctor applied the injections slowly, stopping after each few shots to ask me if I was okay. When it came to my cheeks, I asked her to pause for a moment because that area was more sensitive; she immediately adjusted the depth and used a finer needle.
After the procedure, the nurse gave me a post-treatment soothing mask (included in the fee). After applying it for 15 minutes, the tiny needle holes on my face were almost completely invisible.
After the procedure (within 3 days)
On the night of the treatment, my face would turn slightly red, as if I had gotten a mild sunburn. I strictly followed the doctor’s instructions: I didn’t wash my face with hot water for three days, didn’t wear makeup, and didn’t go to the sauna. By the next day, the redness had completely gone away, but small bumps began to appear on my face (the doctor said this was a normal reaction, part of the effect of PDRRN). On the third day, the bumps disappeared, and my skin became very smooth.
Results (2 weeks after the procedure)
I must say: the effects of Rejuran really impressed me. The most noticeable change was in my Pores – my Pores on both sides of my nose were originally quite visible, but after two weeks of treatment, they reduced by about 30-40%. Fine lines also improved, but not as significantly as my Pores. In summary, I would be willing to receive this treatment again!
In conclusion: Is it worth getting Rejuran?
If your budget allows (2 centum cores per treatment cost approximately ₩380,000), I personally recommend Rejuran. Compared to regular hyaluronic acid treatments, its effects last longer, and the improvement in Pores is more noticeable. However, please keep the following points in mind:
- Be sure to seek out a legitimate clinic and insist on having the product inspected on the spot.
- Confirm the total price before the procedure (including anesthesia and post-operative care); any last-minute price increases will be refused.
- If the budget is limited, you can start by using 1 centum core for printing and see the results before deciding whether to upgrade.
- It usually takes about 1 to 2 weeks to see noticeable results after the treatment, so it’s important to be patient.
If you still have questions after reading this, you can always make a one-on-one consultation through s-sourire and directly discuss your concerns with the consultant. They will help you organize the information before confirming it with the clinic, saving you a lot of time and hassle. I myself also used s-sourire to compare the prices of Rejuran at several clinics before choosing one with the best cost-performance ratio.
