Last month, while on a trip to Jeju Island, I finally got the chance to visit 4ever, the clinic I had been dreaming of for so long! In this post, I will share my real experience without holding back anything—both the pros and cons, so it can be helpful for anyone considering going there.
Why choose 4ever?
Before going, I did a lot of research on platforms like REDnote, Dcard, and PTT. There weren’t as many medical beauty clinics in Jeju Island as in Seoul, but the quality varied greatly; some were clearly just tourist-oriented, high-volume clinics.
I chose 4ever for several reasons:
- The online reviews were generally positive, especially those from customers from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.
- They emphasize that the director personally examines patients, rather than just having consultations followed by nurses taking over.
- It’s located in the Yeon-dong area, which is easily accessible, and you can even go shopping after your treatment.
- The prices are cheaper than in Seoul, but the facilities and equipment seem very new.

Actual impressions of the clinic environment.
As soon as I arrived at the entrance of the clinic, I was impressed by its design. The decor was simple and elegant, with a predominantly white tone that completely eliminated the cold, impersonal atmosphere typical of traditional beauty clinics.
The lobby area is equipped with comfortable sofas, magazines, and a drink bar, so you won’t feel bored while waiting. There are also several certificates and information about the director’s qualifications hanging on the walls, which give off a very professional vibe.
The consultation room is a private space with excellent confidentiality. It is equipped with professional skin testing instruments, and the director will use them to analyze your skin type.
The treatment rooms are private, one-on-one spaces. The beds look very clean, and all the equipment is brand new. I noticed that the nurses always ensure thorough sterilization before starting any procedures.
The consultation process with the director
This time, it was the director himself who consulted me. He is Korean, but we were able to communicate smoothly in basic English. The consultation took about 40 minutes, which was much longer than I expected.
The consultation process:
- First, he asked about my needs and the issues I wanted to address.
- Then he used instruments to evaluate my skin condition, including its moisture level, elasticity, pore size, and pigmentation.
- Based on the test results, he analyzed my specific skin problems.
- Recommending suitable treatments—not the most expensive ones, but those that suit me.
- Detailed explanations of the treatment principles, effects, and recovery times.
- Quotations and treatment planning.
What impressed me the most was that for a certain treatment I wanted to try, the director said it wasn’t suitable for me and suggested another, cheaper option. Such honesty is really reassuring; they don’t try to push unnecessary treatments just to make money.

Sharing my experiences with these treatments.
This time, I had two procedures: basic skin care and Botox for facial slimming.
Skin care: The whole process took about an hour and included makeup removal, cleansing, exfoliation, essence application, and a facial mask. The nurse was very gentle and explained each step clearly. The products used were high-quality Korean medical-grade brands with pleasant scents.
Botox for facial slimming: The director performed the injections himself. He first assessed the size of my masseter muscles and marked the injection sites. Local anesthesia was applied beforehand, so it didn’t hurt much—only a slight stinging sensation. The entire procedure took about 15 minutes, and after the injections, my face was cooled briefly.
Post-treatment recovery and results.
On that day: The skin was slightly red, but there was no swelling. The areas where the Botox was injected had small pinholes, but they were barely noticeable.
Day 3: The skin looked brighter, and the pores seemed finer. The Botox had not yet taken effect; the doctor said it would take 1–2 weeks.
Day 7: The skin condition remained stable, and makeup applied smoothly. I could already feel my face looking smaller, and the masseter muscles had softened.
Day 14: The effects of the Botox were clear—the face took on a V-shaped profile, and the lines became softer. Friends said I looked much more energized.
Day 30: The results were stable; the skin looked good, and the face continued to maintain its V-shape.
Summary of advantages
- The doctor personally performed the treatment, demonstrating high professionalism.
- They do not push unnecessary treatments but recommend suitable options based on individual needs.
- The environment is clean and comfortable, with modern equipment.
- Prices are transparent, with no hidden fees.
- The post-operative care was excellent; they actively inquired about the recovery progress.
Disadvantages and precautions
- The prices are slightly higher than other clinics on Jeju Island (but cheaper than in Seoul).
- It’s difficult to get a reservation during peak hours; it’s recommended to book at least 2 weeks in advance.
- Chinese-speaking services are limited; it’s best to communicate via WeChat in advance.
- There are more people on weekends; it’s advisable to schedule appointments on weekdays in the morning.
Who is it suitable for? Who is it not suitable for?

Not suitable for:

- Individuals undergoing major procedures (mainly skin care and minor cosmetic treatments)
- Those who cannot communicate in English at all (although Chinese customer service is available, the services are primarily conducted in English)

Overall review
Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience at 4ever! From the appointment process to the post-treatment care, every step demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail. Although the prices are not the lowest, considering the personal consultations by the director and the quality of service, I believe the value for money is excellent.
If you are considering cosmetic procedures in Jeju Island, 4ever is definitely worth adding to your list! I recommend making an appointment in advance and consulting through WeChat to ensure a smooth experience on-site.
