During my vacation in Jeju Island, I took the opportunity to try the legendary Now Medi Clinic. Let me say one thing: the quality is truly top-notch! This review is meant to provide insights for those considering cosmetic treatments in Jeju.
First Impression: More Like a Luxurious Beauty Space Than a Clinic
As soon as I entered, I was amazed by the decor. Unlike many clinics in Seoul that have a “medical” vibe, Now Medi focuses on a minimalist, wooden style with soft lighting and gentle music. The waiting area even offers Jeju-style citrus tea and snacks. This atmosphere instantly puts you at ease, eliminating any sense of tension associated with seeing a doctor.
The staff at the reception spoke fluent English. After confirming my appointment, they led me to the consultation room. The wait time was only about 5 minutes, which was very punctual.
Consultation with the Director: A 40-Minute Personalized Session
What surprised me the most was that the director personally conducted the consultation! In many clinics in Seoul, it’s usually a consultant who handles the initial talk while the director only performs the treatment. But here, the director was involved throughout the whole process, carefully observing my skin type, asking about my lifestyle habits, and understanding my expectations.
I originally wanted to undergo picosecond laser treatment, but the director recommended starting with basic skin care first. “Your skin is quite sensitive, so direct laser treatment might cause dark spots. It’s better to stabilize your skin first and come back later for the laser,” she said. This approach of not forcing unnecessary treatments and truly considering the customer’s needs was really reassuring.
Treatment Experience: Gentle and Attentive Korean Service
The treatment I received this time was a combination of “hyaluronic acid infusion + LED therapy”:
- Makeup Removal and Cleansing: The technician was very gentle and even asked if the pressure was appropriate.
- Deep Cleansing: Ultrasound waves were used to remove dead skin cells without causing any irritation.
- Essence Application: The director personally performed this step, explaining each step along the way.
- LED Therapy: The skin was exposed to light for 15 minutes, while a massage was also given to the neck and shoulders.
- Post-Treatment Care: A soothing mask was applied, and a post-treatment care pack was provided.
The entire process took about 1.5 hours, and no other treatments were tried or promoted; the focus was entirely on the service being provided at that moment.
Results: A Natural, Radiant Glow
Right after the treatment, my skin felt hydrated and looked radiant. It wasn’t the exaggerated “three-step whitening” effect, but a healthy, natural glow. When I returned to Taiwan, my colleagues all asked if I had changed my skincare routine because my skin looked so good.
Post-treatment care was also simple: just make sure to use extra sunscreen and moisturizer. There were no issues with peeling or dark spots. About 3 days later, my skin was at its best, and my makeup looked flawless.
Price: Cheaper than in Seoul, Great Value for Money
The cost of this treatment was around 150,000 Korean won (about NT$4,000), while similar treatments in Seoul would probably cost 200,000–250,000 Korean won. Considering that the director personally performed the treatment, this price is really affordable.
>Plus: The clinic doesn’t force customers to sign up for packages or membership programs; they fully respect your choices.Who It’s Suitable For: My Recommendations

Overall Review: A Hidden Gem of Medical Beauty in Jeju
In general, Now Medi gave me the impression of a “luxury medical beauty experience” – focusing on quality rather than quantity. Everything, from the environment to the service and the technology, was meticulously crafted. If you’re going to Jeju Island not just for the cost but for a comfortable and professional cosmetic treatment, Now Medi is definitely worth adding to your list.
Next time I visit Jeju, I’ll definitely make another appointment for laser treatment—after all, I already trust this clinic!
